“Pulsar“ Italian brand , Ceramic Lighting Design

Milano June 2011
“Pulsar“, presents the new line of ceramic lamps, with a LED light source: the suspension "Zeppelin". 100% ceramic, Zeppelin Lamp
The body lamp is made of 100% ceramic, which due to their very nature and production process are sustainable and ecological material. The raw materials of these ceramic pieces come from the earth itself (clay) which, together with the water and heat used in the firing process, form a natural, high quality product.
We gave the name Zeppelin to the lamp, (in honor of the famous airships), because it was amused to see that a relatively heavy object like it, seemed so light once hung.
Thanks to its RGB LED, using a remote control, you can change the color and the intensity of light to the whole range.
The entire collection is available in natural ceramic or glazed painted in eight different colors, both opaque and shiny.

Ski helmet Zero5 for IDI, "Innovazione Design Italia "

Milano June 2011

A combination of retro and futuristic design with a wire mesh shell and integrated lens system.

The request was: a ski helmet, different, innovative, able to solve some old problems of ski helmets:
- Feeling of heat and sweating.
- The classic ski goggles are perfect for harsh conditions, and for racing, but inconvenient for light use, in fact many people use simple sunglasses.

The first problem was solved with use of wire mesh, closed internally by a gorotex fabric, which allows the steam to go out, but not leave in the water.
The second, with a smoke visor with anti-fog treatment, derived from the motorcycle world.

The IDI Zero5 Helmet boasts a rare combination of safety and sporty style. It features "a special structure with the function of Distributing and dissipating energy" and is "manufactured in materials expanded to double thickness and with Differentiated densities." The Zero 5 helmet also comes with integrated lens, and a Cordura neck protector and is available in four colors: gold, silver, pearl, black.

The system is completed by a semi-circular work surface, support legs and a possible advertising posters to be placed in front of the counter.
The modules also feature speakers (for use with MP3) to cheer gastronomic service with traditional music.
